Filing for State Senate, State House of Representatives, countywide and less than countywide offices takes place with the county of residence political party.
March 17 12:00 noon: Filing opens for party primary and convention candidates. Candidates file proper forms including Statement of Intention of Candidacy with their county political party.

White copy of the Statement of Intention of Candidacy is kept by the County Executive Committee.
Gold copy is given to the candidate.
